I've posted here and there with new stuff, but I've been keeping most of my work to myself the last year as I practice and learn new things and techniques. I have several pieces in the works right now that are so beyond anything else I've done that when I look at them I find it hard to believe I myself have created them. They're coming soon. Promise. Not that anyone watches here... so I've no idea why I'm even writing this... except that I notice my last journal entry was like, over two years ago. XD Right, so... I'll stop rambling now. ^_^;

I just keep practicing, and I am improving. I can see that the stuff I've done more recently is better than my earliest stuff, and the pieces I'm working on currently are even better. I've more to come. Lots of people stop here, but no one stays to watch, but hopefully, eventually I'll improve enough that people will actually be interested in seeing my stuff as I post it and will add me to their watched lists. If not, I'm just happy to be learning to use the skills I thought I'd lost.

Each piece teaches me something new... And I'm more and more proud to show off my stuff, even if no one is lookin'.

Oh goodness, a new post. ^_^! Well, it's not perfect, but I see myself improve with each piece, and the works I have coming are each better than this and the one before. I'm still a little iffy with coloring, and my backgrounds still aren't going to be fantastic, but I'm learning, learning, learning. And I'm content to just slowly improve, so that's all that matters, ne?

I'm teaching myself. Reteaching myself. And I'm improving with each piece, I think. I've had help along the way. I still get help. I've watched artists that KNOW what they are doing, and even some that really just wing it, and I'm learning something new with every drawing I do. I'm working on several things right now, and it may be a bit before I post anything new, I don't know, But I think, it'll be worth waiting, for anyone who cares to see, once they are finished. Thank you so much to all those friends, and strangers, who have helped me get the artist back.

Perhaps until then, I'll start posting writing. That's where the talent lies, anyway, is it not, friend?
